Task 1: Useful Language for Pie Charts |

Aim: This section will give you some useful language so you can give a good answer to a pie chart question in Task 1.
Problems: Some people only repeat the percentage for each category and so don't show a variety of vocabulary.
You can get a higher band score for you answer to a pie chart question by using some phrases to describe proportion - or how much of the chart is taken up by each category. Have a look at the example below:
You could write: "The great majority of sales were of Moschino bags at 82%, whereas Gucci sales accounted for only 18%."
