Strategic partnership between Indian and Australian Universities

A range of opportunities for Indian students applying to Australian Universities were showcased in the Capital on August 1.

Focussing on building a strategic partnership between India and Australia through education, Peter Varghese, Australian High Commissioner, said, "We have made a long-term investment of 12.5 billion dollars in the universities sector. We would like to bring in more collaborative education and collaborate on building vocational skills. India has set a target of skilling 500 million people and we want to help it achieve that."
