A sad story from India indicates the pressure some students put themselves under trying to get the IELTS score they need. A 24-year-old girl in Zirakpur, India allegedly committed suicide after receiving a low IELTS score, Indian press reports. The girl, named only as Megha, had taken the IELTS test as she wished to move to Australia to live with her sister. Our prayers go out to her family at this terrible time.
