Example Question-types for Speaking Phase ThreeProblems: Many candidates don't listen carefully to the question; they just listen for the general topic-area and then give an unstructured answer.  

In Phase Three the examiner will present questions so that you can organize your answer and not just talk about anything that comes into your mind relating to the general topic. The more relevant and better organized your answer is, the higher your score will be. Here are a few important words to listen for in Phase Three questions:

- Evaluate  
- Give reasons    
- Compare
- Give the effects        
- Suggest 
- Describe    
- Outline 
- Speculate
